October Adventures: My Day with Jessica and Erin!

After Porcelain I went with Jessica and her boyfriend to explore an underground cavern.

It was only 30 minutes, but for 3€ you can't really complain. Afterwards we grabbed a drink and planned a dinner date!

Gasp! I drank a beer!
We went to Les Tables du Bistrot, which is kind of out of the way, and not available by bus. It's a very rustic style, and actually has a barn in it!

I had some flank of beef and ratatouille. Jessica had lamb, and Erin had duck. Erin was the clear winner. His duck was AMAZING.

October Adventures: Porcelain Museum

There was a free visit day at the local Porcelain Museum for students, so I made sure to sign up! Below are just a few of the thousands of pieces they have! (I'm partial to just white, but the majority did have colors!)

How ceramic is often used in the body.

They also had a very extensive area where they explained the history and creation of porcelain.

October Adventures: Limoges

Back in October there was an interesting Sports Festival that we were allowed to skip class for - obviously that was enough encentive for me! They also had free BBQ, and I was curious to see what the French had to offer.

Basically, FRANCE 0 - USA 1
(Sorry France)

That night, I went with Stéphanie and a group of friends to a lake and ate pizza while singing to Disney songs. I also saw a HUGE hedgehog:

That weekend, Wesley made a surprise weekend visit!
I also got to eat at La Mie Câline for the first time. Croque chève is the BEST. Better than any grilled cheese sandwich (Sorry mom).

Snagged some Rosé at La Bibliothèque

One day during lunch, I came across a food truck at the campus! I got a eggplant wrap, which surprisingly was cold.

There was a Butcher Festival, which left the streets claustrophobic. I gave up after traversing through the whole thing once and headed home...

..but first I stopped at a kebab and tried a cheeseburger! It was very good!!

Later that week, I happily noticed a Halloween area in the Hyper U!

In my next post, I will share my photos from my Adventure Day with my friend Jessica and son petit ami, Erin!

Then, Botswana!

Bisouxx!
